In the first part of my career I worked in Sales, Sales Management and Product Management positions representing Renowned International Manufacturers in the BeNeLux and later all European Countries. For several parties I initiated business activities in these territories which in some cases included starting an operation and selecting and working with local distributors. Besides visiting customers my responsibilities included Market Research, Product Launch, Promotion Materials and Exhibitions, Inventory Policy, Product and Maintenance Training and more.

Experience was gained in various market segments including Electronic Components, Communication Network Products, PC based Systems, Consumer Products, Medical Laboratory Equipment and others.

Based on extensive experience gained in pioneering positions I was appointed in General Management reporting to Shareholders and successfully managed trading as well as producing operations having full P&L responsibility under challenging circumstances.

Besides this I was active in a number of professional organisations as Advisor (SIC - Industrial Policy), Chairman (EIBA NL - Domotica) and Executive Board Member (Royal Dutch Society of Engineers KIVI) and contributed to several publications.

In addition to obvious requirements in my positions the nature of my involvement gave a broad hands-on experience with among more Bookkeeping,  IT-System Selection and Implementation, Quality Management Certification (ISO), Restructuring and more.

I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and completed several professional courses.
